Modular Network Solutions - Network

Next Generation Networks

The rapid development of telecommunications networks continues with new equipment capable of supporting both fixed and wireless technologies ultimately leading to a fixed/wireless convergence.

With our diverse experience across a multitude of disciplines from site fit out, DC power, through to DWDM system commissioning we assist our customers developing deployment solutions to support the implementation of these new technologies in test/trial environments then into full roll-out scenarios.

Recently we have developed prototype deployment systems alongside OEM’s and Carriers for the following technologies;

  1. FTTx (Fibre to the curb, home, premises) – where fibre replaces the last mile copper of the local loop
  2. GPON – Gigabit passive optical networks – currently being trialed by Openreach at Ebbsfleet.
  3. WiFi and WiMax (Wireless Technologies to replace/complement the local loop).
  4. AMDF (Advanced Main Distribution Frame) for provisioning and management of customer circuits.
