Aerohive – Throughput SLA’s for your clients
Aerohive Networks has released it’s latest upgrade to its AP operating system. HiveOS3.4 Â and HiveManager3.4 now incorporates Performance Sentinel and Airtime Boost. IT administrators will be able to assign a minimum throughput guarantee to each 802.11n client. The system will then monitor the client’s compliance with these set levels. The system will automatically take action should throughput levels fall below the minimum SLA set using its Boost feature.
Traditional QoS has been about prioritising voice packets, but it effectivness can be hard to judge. Teh Aerohive system will provide information on how every client is performing and take automatic steps to keep all of its guaranteed throughput levels.
